The State Supreme Court effectively ended the statewide Safer at Home Order on Wednesday, May 13. As business owners, we need to find a balance in which we can both protect our rights and the health of our campers. We will be following the recommendations from Juneau County and their Safer AT Home Advisory. Please see the pdf below. We will allow people to visit with each other on their sites. However, In The Pines does not want its campers to congregate in groups larger than 10 people. We ask that our campers please maintain the social distancing guidelines of 6ft between people not in their own household.
We think In The Pines Seasonal Camp-Resort is a great place to practice "Social distancing." In The Pines Seasonal Camp-Resort is a PRIVATE campground. We aren't open to the public and have no overnight guests so that would put us in a bit of a different category than most campgrounds. We would be considered similar to a condo association.
Every site has full hook-up, so you don't have to worry about someone coming to pump you out. Each site is 50' x 80' so you have plenty of room to move around. Each camper has its own bathroom, kitchen, and comfort. We have trails for hiking or for riding on with your golf cart, UTV or ATV. There's an ATV/UTV trail just outside the campground, and a public boat launch directly across the street. It's a great place to launch your boat, and fish on the beautiful Wisconsin River to catch that big walleye or crappie. If you need a place to park your boat then we have you covered. Every camper gets one off-site parking spot to park their boat.
Our campground will have to make some seasonal adjustments according to the State COVID-19 Guidelines we have listed below. Here is a highlighted list of guidelines in order to enjoy your stay at In The Pines Seasonal Camp-Resort.
Some additional suggestions: Masks are a great thing to have on hand just in case you need them. Here's a link on how to make them. Also, if you don't feel well then you need to stay home and not travel to the campground. Stay close to your hospitals and don't travel to a new area. If you do need groceries click the green button at the top of this page for the link to Miller's Grocery Store in Lyndon Station. They deliver right to your site. We also have many bars and restaurants that deliver or offer curbside pick-up listed as well.
We want to remind everyone that this is a temporary situation. This isn't forever, and we'll all be back to hanging out together and having parties once again very soon. We just have to maintain the recommended social distancing so we can get this health crisis over and move forward. Please look at the positive here, which is that we get to open.
Be safe, be healthy and be well!
The photos below were taken of the Wisconsin Dells area during the COVID-19 crisis. We are very proud of our city for following what our State asked of them. We are not just a town but a community.
This poster is to highlight how great the community and businesses are being at trying to get this health crisis over as fast as possible by staying in. I'm very proud of our little city and will continue to support the local businesses by raising awareness that they need help during these difficult times. Please visit the Facebook page Wisconsin Dells Strong to see the businesses that are currently open.
